Domestic terrorism

A Christian terrorist group, that in 1997 claimed that it bombed an Atlanta lesbian night club, is encouraging its followers to rally in Buffalo.

Do you think a gay group that bombed a church would be able to hold a rally, or would all of its member be in jail?

Ah, the good ole "Army of God," everyone's favorite nutcases.

Of course, the article describes the announcement of the "rally" more as a call to arms directed toward disparate followers than as an organized gathering of official members. Therefore, I wouldn't say they were being "allowed" to rally in Buffalo; preventing followers with no official affiliation from showing up would be impossible. This would be true if they were the followers of a small group of gay people who had bombed a church.

Incidentally, did you know that "The Army of God" is an anagram for "Orgy of the Mad?"

I know that I would rather be bombed by a group of gay terrorists than Christian psychos. At least then it wouldn't be a religious terrorist attack.

That was a joke. I'm not sure if it was funny, offensive, or just confusing. I vote for confusing.
